I've seen three of these and my favorite is Cold War, even though I love all of them. Personal Shopper is tied alongside Summer Hours (and maybe Cold Water) for my second favorite Assayas.

I'm always surprised how well Bay films do in these votes, often outpacing established art house classics. I half want it to win just to see what people say, half don't because I suspect it'll be dead silent in that thread.

What the hell, if it wins I'll guarantee at least one post from me. Probably not a super analytical one, but maybe something about where it fits into Bay's career for me.

That's why I'm going with The Manchurian Candidate, which is more of a stylized conspiracy noir soaked in the oil of substantiated irrational political fears, making it a fun kind of paradox between reality and imagination. Plus I think it's the best film on the list, though they're all good.

Shampoo is an interesting choice too--I had forgotten it takes place entirely on election day

Same, I'd be curious to hear anyone's readings of how the election specifically plays into the themes of the film, since for me it's all about deconstructing the myth of free love and using Beatty's own lifestyle as a method for fearfully reinforcing gender roles in sexual politics ironically within a film shining a light on their unraveling from those norms.
