The festival is liveNever Cursed wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2024 11:20 pm Was not aware of this until ten minutes ago, but apparently the Poland-based American Film Festival allows you to rent a bunch of titles digitally if you use a VPN set to Poland and can configure the payment properly. I post it here because among the titles that will be up for rental starting November 5 is Paul Schrader's Oh, Canada, which will get only a very small theatrical release in most of the English-speaking world.

Re: Festival Circuit 2024
I'm the programmer of a tiny festival, would it be entirely inappropriate for me to ask the members to recommend films I might program for my festival? I figure folks here see a lot of suitable festival films and could draw my attention to some good candidates, but I understand if that would be hijacking the topic for my personal purposes.
Anyway, if this is a no-no, mods, go ahead and delete, and if anyone wants to make a recommendation, here are the parameters:
- shorts up to 30 min
- theme of sexuality, romantic relationships, LGBT (doesn't have to be LGBT)
- narrative, documentary, animated or experimental all welcome
- produced in 2024 or 2025
