We need to get WKW in there to stretch that dog's face back to normal

There are lots of covers posted in this thread that are bad, but that might actually be one of the all-time worst.

This looks like one of the simplest cheapest quickest photoshop montage ever for a cover.

I think it's funny that they chose to throw this together in seemingly two minutes, complete with a toddler's house drawing and accidentally giving the titular dog a hint of birth-defect health issues with the sloppy symmetry, yet someone still took pause to make that line in the "A" a little fancy. Priorities!

Worst DVD Covers...ever! (Part 4K)
This one is objectively terrible regardless of the content of the picture...
...but if you're a Londoner (or familiar with the place in general), you'll doubtless be wondering why a film set in 1962 apparently features an ultra-modern building (Portcullis House) that didn't even begin construction for another thirty years and wasn't opened until 2001. And that bus is a vastly more modern design - back in 1962 it would have been a Routemaster.

Obviously a terrible choice for a 2001 cover, but I think something similar would work pretty well for something like Forbidden Planet.

I love how the font used for "The Ultimate Trip!" makes it look like an ad for a vacation spot.

Well... we do know that the hotel has all the amenities (towels, king-size bed, full room service, and panel-lit flooring)!I love how the font used for "The Ultimate Trip!" makes it look like an ad for a vacation spot.

I actually think that 2001 cover is pretty cool.

The 2001 cover is fine, it's the tagline that's strangely off-tone.

That tagline was featured on 2001 posters back in the 60s, but it was clearly a reference to an LSD trip, not a vacation, as the film became a hit with young people who went to see it after dropping acid.

This might be the worst placement of the "Certified Fresh" icon I've ever seen.

Worst DVD Covers...ever! (Part 4K)
I pulled this out to show my kids tonight, and was dumbstruck at how truly awful the design of this DVD set is.
The movie, by the way, went over like gangbusters with my 7 & 9 year-old.

Late to this particular party but sweet lord are the ‘Certified Fresh’ icons part of the cover image or simply a sticker on the removable outer wrap? Agreed too the placement here seems to be almost mischievously, deliberately placed in the most offensive part of the empty space possible.hearthesilence wrote: ↑Tue Dec 15, 2020 7:47 pmThey should have put it under the mirror, like an air freshener.
