Apparently the cover art for Wooden Crosses is going to be derived from this beautiful image, according to Kevin from Eureka on the BluRay forum:

Same as the French release then; no complaints here.

Better than the Criterion if you ask me.

I really like it - it catches the film's tone much better than the more selfconsciously "monumental" Criterion cover.

The Eureka also has a major bonus in the English soundtrack, which really should be a must for Fellini films from this era (i.e. where there was no "versione originale" and half the actors were obviously speaking English on set).

Interesting. I dismissed the English track on The Canterbury Tales out of hand, and then realised my mistake when I actually listened to it (and Pasolini does seem to imply in an interview in the booklet that he hopes the then still being worked on English dub will be the more definitive track). So I'll approach Satyricon with a more open mind.

Ugly, ridiculous and dated: a perfect fit for the movie. I think it's great, although I'm not a fan of their obsessive original title adherence, it comes off as awkward here as well: Federico Fellini Fellini Satyricon.

I don't think it was mentioned on here, but the final Spione cover is slightly revised from the image that was posted online. The partially blue lettering has been replaced by dark grey, making it fit together more smoothly.

That's more like the MoC of old cover-wise.
