I'm professionally dedicated to taking risks on new ideas ... but never, ever do that again.

Maybe the Academy feels Sorkin zingers aren't enough to elevate a film. I personally liked Nomadland a great deal.

That song should've won the Oscar that year. Starship is the best.

Frances McDormand - watching Zhao's earlier speech and saying "I'll just do the opposite."

They're going to give it to Boseman and that's why it's last?

Edit: Nope.

Edit: Oh good, we ended the ceremony with a winner who wasn't there.

Worst. Oscars. Ever.

"The Academy accepts the award on his behalf" - hell of a way to end the show!

She quoted Macbeth and she's playing Lady Macbeth in her next film. Get it?

I guess they were really betting on Boseman winning with that move.

Her abrasiveness is just so odd. I kind of hoped she might say something about Scott Rudin, but who am I kidding.
