Has anyone else gotten OOP titles in the Criterion Sale Page that have been rumored to return? I got Le Cercle Rouge multiple times this afternoon under "Paranoia!", and this morning I got Chungking Express under "No Passport Required". Funny how this sale applies to, "In-Stock films". Let's just hope The Man Who Fell to Earth is under a "Sci-Fi" section in the coming hours.

Update: Le Cercle Rouge has been removed.

Added a $10 credit for being a channel charter member, got Elephant Man for $18 (after shipping and taxes).

The two I wanted, Beau travail and Toni are sadly sold out. Couldn't get at Target sale either. I continue to wait for another sale I suppose...

Woke up at 7 am to go pee. Then decided one last groggy purchase had to be made in the last 2 hours of the sale and got the Varda set. I went back to sleep satisfied.

Has anyone’s flash sale order shipped yet? I don’t want to whine, but I was hoping that mine would have shipped already. My Dad just had surgery this week and I was hoping to watch Naked City, Brute Force, and The Gunfighter with him while he convalesces.

Thanks, I didn’t get my order in until 12:10 PM on Tuesday. That must explain the incredible delay.

I placed mine as soon as the clock hit 12pm flat and just got an email notification a minute ago, but the tracking number isn't in the UPS system yet which means it hasn't really shipped. Historically I place orders between 12 and 12:05 and my parcels ship later than others, so it may be a region thing, or a spite-delay in the ol' NY/Boston rivalry.

Lemdog, do you live right next to the packing facility?

Spite-delay, I like that. I might have to open a spite-boutique home video business. I’ll call it The Criteria Collective.

My two "big" orders shipped today (bergman set and the varda set seperately) via UPS with a delivery date of next wednesday. Surprisingly my third and smallest order with 4 individual titles has not shipped yet

Got my order confirmation email at 12:13 and my order hasn't shipped yet. Sigh.

My package (ordered in the half hour of the sale) just cleared Customs in Montreal, so should be here on Monday.

My order is coming today and I live in Canada, though I did have to pay an extra $25 for import fees (thanks DHL!). I don't think I'm going to order from the Criterion site anymore.

My package is due to be delivered today in Canada. I guess completing the order in the first 10 mins of the sale has its benefits.

But also had to pay $30 to DHL.

My third/small order got shipping confirmation this morning though only a label has been created so no actual movement.

Heads up to the fellow Canadians above, if you're unaware of Unobstructed View they are the official Canadian distributors of Criterion (and several other boutique labels). Their sales are coordinated with Criterion's flash and B&N's 50% off sales with free shipping on orders over $100.

I'm another Canadian who received their order today. Asides from they're ridiculous Boxing Day overstock sale, I've sort of ignored Unobstructed View's sales, but after having to pay an additional $33 in import fees today, I'll definitely be keeping them in mind for next time. Free shipping is definitely a plus.

This week's UV sale was kind of a disaster; it went live for about a minute before their site was down for SEVEN HOURS due to the influx of traffic. By the time I realized it was back up, everything I wanted was sold out. I'm waiting until the B&N sale period starts up because UV typically applies sale prices to backordered items, whereas during flash sales it's in-stock items only.

If you ordered 2 items like I did from their site, you would have yo pay $8 for untracked shipping. Also, did they implement the free shipping for order over $100 recently? I placed an order during the July sale that was $150+ and I got charged $11 for shipping.
