It’s a bit disappointing that the recently restored House of Seven Belles and Compass Rose aren’t included, but the Thrower mini-book is a terrific extra.

There are also a couple late '80s films (unseen by me) that are not included here but that have been put out by Garagehouse Pictures--Monstrosity and The Weirdo

Re: Severin Films: The Dungeon of Andy Milligan Collection
As has been mentioned on the Garagehouse thread, they've announced a sale on their Facebook page for several titles that they're not planning to repress including both Milligan films. The Weirdo has already sold out but Monstrosity may still be available.
The trend of Milligan releases including extra features that would have pissed the director off is very funny to me. The Severin podcast notes that their inclusion of Hal Borske's electronic music probably would have annoyed Milligan, and one of the participants on the VS Fleshpot on 42nd Street commentary pointed out that he would have been apoplectic at the idea of three women talking over one of his films.

Re: Severin Films: The Dungeon of Andy Milligan Collection
From Facebook today:
***UPDATE ON THE DUNGEON OF ANDY MILLIGAN***
We're aware that everyone wants to know when the Milligan box will be in their hands, and we wanted to have a full picture before reporting anything to customers. The cause of the delay is that our replicator overlooked Disc 5 during the production process and was subsequently unable to locate the master we originally delivered. This oversight wasn't caught until the replication process was complete, but we've now re-delivered the master and have been assured a quick turnaround. The packaging already exists (first glimpse can be seen below) and finished goods should be shipping out by the end of next week. We apologize for this delay, but the Dungeon will be on it's way very soon.

For some reason, that feels appropriate for an Andy Milligan box set.

Now that I have it in hand this is an impressive looking package, though to make it so compact they used those slide holders that are nigh impossible to get the discs from.

Re: Severin Films: The Dungeon of Andy Milligan Collection
Appears to be sold out, so swo should be getting some offers shortly. Al Adamson took just over 4 months to sell 2000 units. Andy Milligan to under 3 to sell 3500. Perhaps Severin should be expanding the runs of these sets since they seem to be in high demand. The reviews for Milligan only began surfacing last week!
(Of course I realize Severin is a small company and there is a financial risk associated with releasing mega-sets like these)

Re: Severin Films: The Dungeon of Andy Milligan Collection
Has Severin said anything about releasing individual discs from the Adamson set? Or a smaller pared down box set without the book (which seems to be Arrow's standard approach now)? I can't quite fathom why anyone would want to pour hours and hours of work into a huge set that only 2000 people are ever going to get to own. I understand the necessity for the limiited edition model, but it clearly still works without making the discs completely unavailable after a single tiny print run.

Re: Severin Films: The Dungeon of Andy Milligan Collection
Sometimes there are contractual issues at play - for instance, when Indicator announced their edition of the 1979 version of Scum, quite a few people contacted the BFI asking for a standalone edition of the 1977 version, but apparently this is impossible because it was licensed on condition that it remain a box-set exclusive. Obviously, I've no idea if this is the issue here, but it's not always the label's decision.EddieLarkin wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 9:22 amHas Severin said anything about releasing individual discs from the Adamson set?
