Would also love to see the two Olmi upgraded and consolidated into a single case release
Good idea .. In the same path I would love an upgrade of "The Lovers" and "The Fire Within"

It's really late, so I'm going to hold steady mostly from last month anyway.

Fists in the Pocket upgrade (given the time lapse since its Film Forum run)
The Circus (even with the Lloyd out this year, there were no new silents released last year, and a Chaplin is overdue)
Local Hero (a three-month lag between the filming of the extra that we recently saw and a September release seems right)
Last month I guessed Polyester too, but that would make three comedies in English, and my gut tells me Local Hero is more likely, unless Criterion is now thinking in more thematic terms because of the channel. There've been hints in the pairing of Swing Time and Hedwig, and in the two Japanese-themed films announced last month. It's possible that wacko John Waters could be paired with the gentle humor of Local Hero.
In any case, there'll probably also be a "serious drama" release.

… And for a serious drama I would probably add The Cloud-Capped Star.

Well now I don’t know who the mole is. This is the lowest stakes community theatre performance of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy ever
