I just saw an article online that says Sony's restoration of Holiday (1938) is coming to Criterion blu. It was from the 2019 mar/apr postmagazine.com.

Here's the actual article.
Post Magazine wrote:CULVER CITY, CA — Sony Pictures Entertainment (www.sonypictures.com) recently completed a 4K digital restoration of Holiday, the 1938 romantic comedy starring Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn. Directed by George Cukor, the newly-restored film screened recently at the TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood in advance of its release on Blu-ray by The Criterion Collection.

Excellent. That'll leave Talk of the Town as the only film from the Sony Cary Grant set to not get upgraded to BD.

Very happy about the Holiday announcement. The only thing I'm dreading is the cover, given what Criterion have designed for the classics lately.

I'd love it if they could somehow include the earlier version with Ann Harding and Mary Astor.

Janus have tweeted that Martin Bell's Streetwise and its companion film Tiny will be getting a theatrical release this summer. The tweet has been liked by Criterion, and I'd be surprised if it isn't on their schedule.

Last time the 15th fell on a Saturday they gave us announcements the day before. Maybe it'll be the same this time around.
