Every picture of someone in the closet is a closet video we don't get to watch.

Re: Criterion on Social Media
Could Juliette Binoche be visiting as part of a return to the collection of The Unbearable Lightness of Being? Criterion seems to be doing a lot of rescues these days of OOP titles. This one has no Blu anywhere AFAIK, and it isn't a StudioCanal title.
Of course, there are a thousand possibilities for Juliette Binoche titles that might fit the Collection.

Re: Criterion on Social Media
Given that Denis was in the closet not too long ago, it's more than likely Let the Sunshine In-related.

Unless there was another tweet, the tweet about The Green Ray was a retweet from the Criterion Channel.

Re: Criterion on Social Media
Criterion retweeted Mitzi Gaynor's post about her costumes in Les Girls, which is def not coming to Crit since WA just put it out, but maybe they're planning to release a movie with costumes by Orry-Kelly?
Also I had no idea Mitzi Gaynor was still alive (and tweeting)!

Re: Criterion on Social Media
Orry-Kelly was the costume designer for 300 films, many of them early Warner Brother films, good luck trying to guess. But she did do the costumes for Arsenic and Old Lace which we suspect is coming soon. So, it could be that.

Re: Criterion on Social Media
After looking at the extensive credits for Orry-Kelly, I've narrowed it down to two likely titles that have been mentioned on this forum at one point or another: I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang and Arsenic and Old Lace.
I also spotted three other titles that haven't really been mentioned here, but would be welcome additions to the collection, in my opinion: The Letter, Kings Row, and Now, Voyager. Just think of those as wild card guesses.

Re: Criterion on Social Media
Now, Voyager is probably the only one of those films where the costumes are really key to the storytelling (if that’s any kind of driving factor for boosting Orry Kelly [who was a man, by the way]). However, there is the allegation that he had a long-term relationship with Cary Grant, so Arsenic and Old Lace could make some sense as well (as dire and unfunny as it is).
Nobody thinks Criterion might have The Little Foxes, directed by William Wyler and shot by Gregg Toland, gowns by Orry Kelly? Seems a likely Criterion release to me.
