Or was. Since end of April there are questions on facebook what has happened with the site, but no answer and the page is still down. Any ideas?
I've asked Eyefilm per mail, maybe they know, they regularily contributed to the page with uploads.

I knew I should have grabbed what I could whilst it was still up.

Does anyone know where Gosho's "Where Chimney's Are Seen" can be viewed online with English subs? Thanks.

Alas, don't know where (if anywhere) this Gosho might be found online with subs. Hulu+ has a few other worthwhile Gosho films, however.

Lindsay Anderson's 47 minute short film can be currently seen on youtube in a good quality print. This film fits well between THIS SPORTING LIFE (the north) and IF.... (surreal combo in black and white and colour - shot by Ondricek).

I did not realise this when I posted but this film is actually available in the US on DVD. It is titled RED WHITE AND ZERO (the title of the three film omnibus it was to be released on. Depite the title the other two shorts are missing on this release. One by Peter Brook and the other by Tony Richardson.) The DVD seems overpriced despite being Burn-on-demand when all you get is a 47 minute short.

Paramount has launched an official YouTube channel called the Paramount Vault with free streaming movies, some never released on DVD, for US viewers

Haiuken

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this but has anyone heard of Haiuken?

http://haiuken.com/

Turned up in my Twitter feed but it's a Canadian based company streaming East Asian (I think that means China, Hong Kong and Taiwan) films for free or premium use - 100% legal so it says.

Just did a bit of looking through for some usual suspects - In the Mood For Love, 2046, Farewell My Concubine, etc. Think you get the odd film by more contemporary filmmakers - A Touch of Sin's on there anyway. The films seem to have English subs.

The films stream pretty well, even on the free use.
