John Krish (1923 - 2016)

With so many of his films scattered across various BFI releases, I thought it would be helpful to put this listing together. If anyone knows of anything I've missed, please let me know. Also, get cracking BFI on releasing the rest of this stuff--you've barely made a dent so far!

Ah, a well-deserved thread.

Unearthly Stranger is out on BluRay from Network in the UK.

Thanks! It actually hadn't occurred to me to look outside of the BFI's releases for his films. I've made some updates accordingly.

Network's Charley Says collections may well have more of the 1970s public information films - although inconsistent titles make matching them up a bit of a challenge.

On a similar note some of the early Scottish related stuff may turn up or may even exist courtesy of one of the Panamint collections. although a cursory trawl through the catalogue didn't unearth anything.

Most of the early WWII films are available on discs in the Imperial War Museum Collection range from Simply Media. Ferry Pilot, Target for Tonight, The True Glory and Coastal Command appear on the discs which share those names. Wavell's 30,000 accompanies Desert Victory and Flying with Prudence is part of The Royal Air Force 1945-1947: The Unseen Films.

For those that are interested, there is also a legitimate upload of Band Wagon on the Ford Heritage YouTube channel.

And perhaps Night Will Fall, another BFI DVD release, can be added to the filmography as Krish is among the interviewees.

I've updated the first post of this thread based on Indicator's latest announcement. Has anything else come out in the last few years that would merit a further update?
