Colin Dibben reviews at Close-Up Film"Wonderfully bonkers... utterly, beautifully, oneirically Czech... This is a liberating film to watch and to be challenged by; it also contains some right royal visual headfracks"

The Geek Show review FRUIT OF PARADISE"Fruit of Paradise is the most complex, rich, ambitious and haunting of her films that have been released in Britain. Better than Daisies? I don’t say it lightly, but it might just be true"

CineOutsider"Extraordinary and richly imaginative experimental update of the Adam and Eve story... The film is consistently arresting in its visual experimentation, but as an audio-visual experience it's intermittently mind-blowing... you should consider Fruit of Paradise essential viewing"

Re: Fruit of Paradise
Just seen this in the cinema, its a wild ride, not sure Ive ever seen anything quite like it. Apart from the stunning visuals, what impressed me the most was the incredible score by Zdenek Liska. Repeated viewings are essential to tease out all the goodies in here, though.
