Amazon ships in 1 or 2 months according to their page. Either no-one got stock, or this gets delayed.

I assume it was delayed once again since Netflix pulled it.

For those who want it right away, it's shipping now from Icarus Films. Other retailers will probably get their stock sometime this month.
For whatever reason, the same thing happened recently with their release of From the East.

Gregory wrote:Secondly, I respectfully disagree that "Chile, Obstinate Memory" is basically just a where-are-they-now film (...) I found it to be a very, very moving, and while it sort of about La Batalla de Chile, it is about much more than that and is an excellent film in its own right. I would recommend Chile Obstinate Memory even to those who have not yet seen the big magnum opus, if you can get it through your library. It has the advantage on only being an hour in length, so it's much easier to get through than the earlier film.
Same here. I wept while watching "Chile, Obstinate Memory", something i rarely do.

Of interest to people who enjoyed The Missing is The Battle of Chile - a three part documentary from 1978 on the Pinochet coup. Anyone pick up this 4 disc set? I've seen parts 1 and 2, but a long time ago, so I am curious to hear about the quality of this. I always hoped it would get a Battle of Algiers type release.

yeah, this is odd. I actually searched before posting that in the Missing thread, but this thread didn't come up. Odd. Still no reports since it's release though...Can anyone give an informal review? I notice it ended up at MSRP $44.99 instead of $39.99...but not a big deal.
