A timely bump, as I recently watched the Blues Brothers all the way through for the first time after having seen bits and pieces on TV growing up. Unfortunately, I thought Franklin's number was easily the worst of the film, and very poorly lip synced to a distracting level. Having just read Landis words linked in this thread, it sounds like they did the best they could, but she def seemed lost in what Landis was after (which wasn't all that great either, to be fair)
