With shipping to the US (I ordered 3 of the 5), my total was $102.85. As the Sorry Wrong Number featurette/Muller Intro are marked as 'Previously Unreleased' as opposed to 'NEW' (like the commentaries), I wonder if those were originally commissioned for the aborted Paramount Centennial Collection DVD edition back in 2009?

I don't want to derail this thread as I want get my hands on three of these editions and curious what retailer did you use? I'm looking for the best retailer to ship to Canada.

I ordered direct from Via Vision. They also have a bundle of all 5 titles, which gives you 25% off, as opposed to 13% for individual titles.

WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE is forthcoming as Barry Forshaw told me Kim Newman and himself recorded a commentary for the blu-ray.

With Criterion's announcement of The War of the Worlds, I wonder if we'll see US/UK releases for the other films later this year or in 2021? I wouldn't mind waiting for Indicator or Criterion editions of these, especially with the costly AUS import fees...

Sorry, Wrong Number isn’t really Criterion material— I could see Shout snatching it though

Even though it's not very good or memorable for the most part, I have a lot of love for Sorry, Wrong Number in how vicious the inevitable punchline is executed.
SpoilerShow
Of course if works doubly because of how the narrative drains our sympathy for the "protagonist" by the end, or anyone in the film for that matter, ushering the audience to align with the fatalism rather than implicating or twisting us around in any ulterior agenda.

There's apparently a new ad for Imprint in "Stack" that features a tease for a few upcoming titles: Alfie, Night Falls on Manhattan, and a 4 film set of noir that includes Detective Story.

Detective Story on Blu-Ray is the only thing that could salvage this year

I'm assuming you mean the original Alfie, but just to be sure, is it the original or the remake?

I haven't seen the magazine myself, but I'd imagine it's safe to assume the original.

If anyone wants to dig through Noir City line-ups of the past few years for Paramount DCPs, I know the Detective Story DCP played there last year or the year prior. I was very sad to miss it due to a cold, knowing how unlikely a release would be...

Paramount themselves released the best DVD version of the public domain Strange Love of Martha Ivers, if we want to start dreaming!

Yeah Martha Ivers is surely another candidate if they want blu exclusives, otherwise I imagine it could be any number of Paramount/Republic noirs licensed to Kino and/or Olive

Somebody on blu-ray.com shared the link to Stick that has the feature on Imprint and the "ad" for new titles: https://stack.cld.bz/st187/29/#zoom=z

So, definitely the Caine version of Alfie and there's no way to tell any other noir titles as the set's mentioned as a blurb rather than any product images.
