I was getting annoyed that no one posted the cover but were taking about it. Now I'm more annoyed that someone posted the cover. What the fuck? Arrow needs some new art directors/artists
Please, yes. I think it might legitimately be an art direction issue. I'll concede I don't like a lot of the artists they use, but even the way some of the art they do have is used is questionable and feels aimless. Compare them to other current companies like Criterion, Eureka and Powerhouse (I know Powerhouse's art director came from Eureka), whose covers are consistently great probably 90% of the time, and follow some sort of standardized template that is pleasing overall and fits in with the rest of their releases. I can't say all their releases are bad as there are a few standouts like the Female Prisoner Scorpion set and the Taisho box to name a few, but more often than not, I absolutely despise their packaging designs.

Maybe Cuarón has instructed these boutique labels to only use atrocious cover art

It's not nice to mock the blind.

The eyeball doesn’t make any sense to me as the movie goes. If artist meant that they are watching the last pregnant woman then that is a very lazy idea (Sorry for the pun).

I like all of the covers this month, although I'll definitely use the reversible sleeve for Horror Express if this image is the alternative:

The fact that their website shows this cover with the BBFC rating logo (and the other cover without it) makes it seem like this could be the cover art for the UK edition

I know they're going for a video game art thing for some reason, but yuck

Seriously. Are the fist and the hand holding the knife at the bottom supposed to be the hands of us, the viewer (like the hand holding a gun at the bottom of the screen in every first-person shooter game)?

It's not only awful, but also way worse than the first artwork.

Where can I buy replacement discs for Arrow's 11 mm clear cases that they used in the recent Kieslowski box set? Recently Network has started using them too. I just can't find them anywhere! Our regular US version is 12.5 mm. Thanks!
