it's a good thing that they try to appease loyal customers by not offering big discounts on recent titles, but it seems that some of the limited sets are taking too long to sell out at these prices!

Is there an Arrow rewards point system for USA releases that I'm missing?

Anyone have experience with how effective it is to try to change or cancel an order via the orders@arrowfilms email? I accidentally ordered the Woody Allen set I already have, caught the error quickly, and asked if they could make a substitution or cancel the order, and I've since been in suspense waiting for either a reply or a shipment confirmation.

I expect they're just very busy - I had a problem where it placed two orders for the same item, which is no problem as I'm sure they'll refund me the balance but I'm not expecting to hear back for a few days at the least.

I've had amazing luck, so sorry you haven't! I've canceled two orders from them, and both were caught/immediately refunded. I was emailed back no later than a day both times.

Blood Bath is slightly cheaper on Amazon UK than it is at the Arrow sale, and even better if you're in a country where VAT does not apply. Also, Woman on the Run and Too Late for Tears are also cheaply had at Amazon, and not available in the Arrow sale.

If Nicole still works at Arrow, try addressing her by name in your email so it goes to her inbox directly. I've had good luck with her responding

Thanks for the replies but they shipped my order and didn't reply to my request. Oh well, this will be another one for my little pile of sealed R2 box sets to sell whenever I can find the time. Shouldn't be too hard to get back roughly what I spent by putting it on eBay after this first volume is sold out.

Gentlemen, any ideas or guesses as to when the next Arrow UK sale might happen? I heard at the end of last year that they do a spring sale. Many thanks!

They usually have a sale every three months (March, June, September, December).

The March sale is usually as late as possible, though, so I'd not be surprised if it's not starting until 3/31.

Some are still surprisingly not particularly low but less than $10 for a Fukasaku or the Sho Kosugi movies are indeed never seen before.
Hopefully, the March sale at Arrow UK will match some of these prices for the UK equivalents.

They are all more than 50% off. That's not low enough?

I didnt mean to seem nitpicky (as I wrote, there are some incredibly low prices) but for instance Dillinger is $18 which isnt particularly low.

I'd have jumped on this sale if I hadn't just this morning spent $100 on Kino Blu-rays, and if Dead End Drive In were the Blu-ray.

Well, in fairness, while these are low prices for Arrow US titles, that discount only brings most of them down to their average price on Amazon UK; I imagine Brexit might have had a hand in this.

I got the VIP Gangster and Nikkatsu Diamond collections. Both cheaper than if I bought them on Amazon UK (plus shipping). Granted, several titles are similar so I'll give you that.

Barnes and Noble is having a sale on select Arrow titles. I think everything is cheaper at the Family Video sale, except B&N have Miike's Black Society Trilogy and Miike's Dead or Alive Trilogy for $19.99 each.

I keep going back and forth between seeing great deals and adding them to my cart and then seeing a bunch of garbage in my cart and emptying it.
