Still has some sort of issue unfortunately. We would love to do more Altman though!
That's a shame. Would HEALTH be a possibility?

I'd just love to see Fox acknowledge that HEALTH exists.

Well, that would be a first step, of course!

Not looked into HEALTH. May be one for the future, we will see how The Long Goodbye does...

If you were able to get it, I wonder if Glenda Jackson would be available for an interview - she's due to stand down as an MP at the next general election...

I thought it was Studio Canal?

That does indeed appear to be the case.

Crossing my fingers for HealtH! How about a Kansas City/Jazz 34 combo? And is there any chance for some Richard Lester? Juggernaut, Robin and Marian and Cuba would all make great additions to the Arrow catalogue, as would his virtually unseen Finders Keepers.

This sub forum i a great addition. Who had the unfortunate task of splitting the earlier thread into all these separate ones?

Arrow have upped their game considerably over the past couple of years and the creation of this subforum is testament to that! I find myself as excited for their announcements nowadays as I am for MoC's and Criterion's. I'll spare you my full wish list but what I will say is that an upgrade of Les Amants du Pont-Neuf is in order.

I wonder if there might be a chance of some Kon Ichikawa, especially Kagi and Enjo.
To see them on official DVDs would be fine, but an Arrow Blu-ray would be something else.

I bought The Fury yesterday and have to say it's a wonderful package. I've been able to turn my young nephew into a Brian de Palma fan by giving him my old DVDs.

I know little about film rights and who owns what, so I'll keep this simple and say what I'd like that would fit in nicely amongst the sort of films Arrow releases.

Regular Releases

Biggles
Unman, Wittering and Zigo
Psychomania
Invasion
(1965)
The Night Caller (1965)

Arrow Academy

Les Amants Du Pont Neuf
Diva
Olivier, Olivier
Europa, Europa

We will look into Altman for sure when The Long Goodbye has been released.

Would love to do his comedy trilogy Mr Pu, A Billionaire and A Full Up Train but any Ichikawa is unlikely at present, rather more MoC's territory.

Sisters (De Palma)
Pretty obvious, but I hope its a possibility, especially as Criterion have taken their time getting this out on Blu. And for whatever reason, it looks like there was never even a UK DVD of this. I wonder what the situation is.

If we're dreaming on Warner titles then I'd love a Tarzan the Ape Man/Tarzan and His Mate double feature Blu-ray. Can't see Warner putting them out.

Also, Ed Wood's Kelton Trilogy with dual aspect ratio options please.

Of course, these are RKO and therefore with Universal in the UK. So, theoretically they should be available but I've asked Arrow before and they've said that they tried to get them with no success

The Dead (John Huston)
The Thing from Another World (Christian Nyby)
Wagon Master (John Ford)
Waterloo (Sergey Bondarchuk)
Buffalo Bill and the Indians (Robert Altman)
True Confessions (Ulu Grosbard)
The Pawnbroker (Sidney Lumet)
The Quiller Memorandum (Michael Anderson)
The Horse's Mouth (Ronald Neame)
The Charge of The Light Brigade (Tony Richardson)
The Battle of The River Plate (Michael Powell)
Communion (Alfred Sole)

Tricky, but I've tried to be realistic in regards to licensing.

Not to beat a comatose horse, but while we've got your ear Tony, is there any chance of Arrow releasing the original Rollerball?

Keep up the wonderful work, and yeah, I'd definitely be wishing for more Altman too.

Is any of the old Tartan library up for grabs? Especially the J-Horror stuff? Ringu, Audition, Dark Water, Ju-on, The Eye etc.

The Killer and Hard Boiled are also in dire need of definite Blu-ray releases.

I have been wondering about Corman's 'Tomb of Ligeia' - it wasn't included in the recent Vincent Price US boxset. Is there any chance of Arrow picking that one up?
