I don't know what a "wally" is but I've interviewed Elliot Silverstein and he's the absolute last person you want to pull any amateur-hour shenanigans around.

Beaver on the US edition - although Gary essentially confirms that it's a clone of the UK one, the only difference being that the DVD is NTSC instead of PAL.

Re: Pit Stop
Curious about this marketing blurb "It's a stunning combination of moody art house style and full throttle, steel-crunching action" from another blu-ray distributor to describe the film. How accurate is the statement and perhaps someone can make some comparisons to other films such as Two-Lane Blacktop?

Re: Pit Stop
It's a reasonable description and a good film although it's nowehere near the quality of Two Lane Blacktop.

Yes, the content of the movie is quite accurately described : quite a hefty amount of racing crash cars, combined with a drama backstory. I was pleasingly surprised by the movie, because the drama are quite good and interesting but the race scenes are well done too but also not too long (I tend to be easily bored by this stuff).
