A short film I forgot to vote for, from the NInA Polish experimental animation set: What Do We See After Closing Our Eyes? (Julian Antonisz)
There are plenty of animated/experimental films made by drawing directly on film stock (think Brakhage) though generally the result is fairly abstract. Here Antonisz attempts to make a more traditional-looking animation (like, recognizable figures in discernable motion) using the same technique...and the result is so deliciously weird

I loved this film's score!

Dark and rich, right? I liked how the feverish temple chanting was integrated. And having full songs soundtrack scenes makes sense for a story where a Greek chorus-style omniscient commentary can work.
