Criterion Collection, Inc.

#1 Post by Tribe » Thu Jun 05, 2008 10:02 pm

I've never seen this posted anywhere here, so delete it if I missed it. Has anyone ever heard anything about Criterion Collection, Inc.? Is this something different?

PS: Some of the barebones info seems accurate...but I never realized they had incorporated. I wonder if this is an extra-officially assembled page.

Trust me, there's nothing special there. The names (The Turells, Becker), old address and a representation of 6.1 million in sales...

Damn, I need to buy more Criterions. =D>

First of all, you need a subscription to access this info, no? I can't even view my own company info without paying. Did you purchase?

I can see it too, but there is really nothing of interest there. Other than the sales figures, the page doesn't have anything we didn't already know.

If you're not at a US IP, it may be blocked. Here.

Big whoop.

What the hell is this? The corporate world's US News & World Report College Rankings equivalent?

No no.. it's a simple D&B type listing of generic info about the company for, for example, sales people looking for leads. You can go into Hoovers by zip code, company size, kind of business, any of a number of demographics, and see and buy leads.

Now a company that manufactures amaray covers would go into Hoovers and pull up (by going into Hoovers using a qualifier like HOME VIDEO DISTRIB) that listing, and the Beckers would be getting marketing/requests for "sits" from the amaray co.

I'm not using a US IP, and it worked for me.

I use Hoovers almost daily at work (yeah, I'm in sales *shudder*) and it should also be mentioned their information can be wildly inaccurate at times. So take whatever numbers you pull with a grain of salt, and remember that "sales" don't mean "profit".

The question is (drum roll):

Does he think Bergman directed "Naked", or is he looking for pics of Bergman showing his works?

And which is actually funnier.

BUSTED.

Was that taken on Fårö? The sky looks a bit too blue, but maybe it was the height of summer.
