While I'm happy for you what is "it"?

The filename of this image implies that it is from "The Freshman".

Hasn't it been known since Safety Last! came out that The Freshman would be next?

Mine was blank too, can someone post the "view as website" link so I can read the whole thing?

I guess. I get the whole sick rat thing, but it seems so strange since MGM released their own Blu-ray with quite a few supplements not long ago. The transfer on that release wasn't great, and I know Mad World probably set some sort of precendent for MGM do-overs, but still...

Probably, but the title (11-13) makes me think it might be something else.

The tail looks like it's been re-attached, so that may be part of the hint.

11-13 means November 2013

Another factor in favor of MC is that it was on CC Laserdisc and they have seemingly shown interest in recapturing some of those major studio films (Big Chill and Tootsie also being forthcomming)

My first thought was an upgrade of Ratcatcher (the wacky rat caught a cold).

Re: the filename being a date rather than a part of the hint. Maybe they figured we were using the filename too liberally in figuring the clues out.

They usually (always?) paint upgrades blue so I assume that this is definitely a new title.

This is clearly Giuliano Carnimeo's Rat Man.

I think it's Midnight Cowboy. I suspect that MGM gave Criterion a small batch of high profile titles to release during 2014 as part of their 90th anniversary celebration. It's probably also why Twilight Time got the MGM titles they did and had the stipulation that they had to release 2 titles a month starting in January 2014.

These obviously weren't a part of Criterion's original MGM deal as MGM issued these titles on blu themselves recently.

I wonder if that Panther boxset is a future Criterion project? (The box supposedly only has the Sellers films)

I vote Midnight Cowboy too! Ratso Rizzo was sick in the film.
