I wonder if the building having 9 stories has anything to do with it
Naked Lunch blu-ray !
I guess the clown would have to be La Strada on Blu-ray

Tight Rope Walker = The Circus?
Bird Cage = La Cage Aux Folles?

Edit: Since Chaplin isn't dressed as a clown in The Circus, the aforementioned La Strata definitely seems to be the better guess.

Well, maybe, but probably also Le Samourai upgrade since he's got the sword.

Oh, right. I forgot about his pet bird in the film.

The falling leaves coupled with the time could be a hint for a An Autumn Afternoon upgrade.

I think that the board has probably gotten all of them so far except for the grumpy looking kid to the upper left of Eraser Head with snow (?) coming down around him. Any ideas, because I'm stumped?

Edit: Also, I haven't seen The Devil's Backbone in years, but I don't remember any conch shells in it. Could it be a Lord of the Flies Blu clue?

Oshima's Boy, perhaps?

Since there are also musical notes, I imagine Autumn Sonata is more likely.

Is the REPO MAN clue also a clue for CANDY (1968)?

So what's the Elaine May-looking lady eating candy a reference to?

I'm not convinced that it is Repo Man since we just got a clue for it and I don't remember any women who look like that in the film. In fact I'm fairly confident that it is something else.

Could the kid in the snowy room be Shivers?

The style of the candy box is probably just a quickie nod at REPO MAN but I'm thinking it's also a reference to CANDY. Might be reading too much into it but there are quite a few guys with shaggy Prince Valiant cuts in that film.

Well, there have been years where Criterion has hinted at a film with a newsletter clue and then shortly after in the New Year's drawing (i.e. Being John Malkovich).

True, but I was just watching Repo Man the other day, and there aren't any characters that look like this. It's almost certainly a double clue (which they've only ever given on New Year's).

I feel like there are less "obvious" clues in this drawing, and there's a few that have to do with the building and the way it's drawn.
