Re: Before the Revolution
I picked up the VHS a few years back when New Yorker was giving up the ghost (or at least getting rid of its tapes).
...Unfortunately, I see I never took the plastic wrap off.

Re: Before the Revolution
Specs for the BFI edition have just been announced. It combines a lot of the content of the RHV version with some unique BFI extras - for instance, the recent (2011) BFI Southbank Q&A that accompanied the unveiling of the restored version of the film.

Re: Before the Revolution
RHV Blu-ray should be in store on October 19. I suppose it will feature the same interviews in the 2-disc DVD set, not entirely included in the BFI edition...

It'll certainly be the same transfer, though the BFI has unique content in the form of the Southbank Q&A and the (extensive) booklet.Saimo wrote:RHV Blu-ray should be in store on October 19. Re: Before the Revolution
BFI content doesn't include interviews with main actors, additional crew members, critics and other italian directors (Bellocchio, Giordana).
In BFI you will have 80 minute interviews, in the RHV 180 minute, all English subbed.
