Got it! Wasn't able to get on the site yesterday, and didn't have time this morning. The site and the REDO code worked great just now on Gorin, Godzilla, Traffic, Design for Living, the Suzukis, Belle de jour, and the Marker set. Thanks again Wacky C.swo17 wrote:All I want is for everyone to get what they wanted to order in the Valentine's Day sale.

Re: Criterion Facebook and Twitter
The AE disc incudes'The Making of Certified Copy' as an extra, which runs 52 minutes, and is an obvious addition for the CC...Brian C wrote: I wonder if there will be any outtakes or deleted scenes included as extras. In an interview last year (in Cineaste, maybe?), Binoche described a particular take that she was very angry with Kiarostami for discarding. There's nothing like that on the other Criterion Kiarostami discs, but I'd love to see it if it still exists.

Although, the AE disc included that extra in a muddy 480p. I'm hoping Criterion can at least give us that extra and some more. Naturally, they'll be in HD.

We all know of course that the real reason for the sale redo is so everyone can order their long awaited copy of Tiny Furnitureswo17 wrote:All I want is for everyone to get what they wanted to order in the Valentine's Day sale.
But seriously, who other than MoC who would do this? There is a reason most of us really love Criterion!
Let's start the bitching and moaning over the new releases !

Great news, although I'll stick with the AE disc given it was dirt cheap and is region free.

Someone suggested Foreign Correspondent. Criterion's teaser certainly looks like the black umbrellas used in the film.
I don't see any tree branches in this youtube clip but these umbrellas could be in other scenes in the movie. I've never seen it.

Is that pic even from a b&w movie? Looks like it could be desaturated color, like Melville or something.

While I don't specifically remember any rain in it, my guess would be Soft Skin....

Facebook confirms it as Summer Interlude...2 fantastic early Bergmans on Bluray in one month! I wonder if they'll be a twofer like the Ozu The Only Son/There Was a Father?

So what are the chances of a "summer" themed Bergman box?

Maybe a few years down the line, but they're zero right now since the titles have been announced.

Re: Criterion Facebook and Twitter
Maybe they're planning to step up the one-a-month model they've followed so far this year? It would be interesting to know which films get the most votes.
Aside from Brazil and Andrei Rublev (which we've been expecting anyway), I noticed a surprising number of people are asking for titles like Jigoku: a film I would love to see upgraded, but certainly wasn't expecting anytime soon--unless it's a personal favorite of someone important.
Perhaps we'll end up with some interesting, unexpected upgrades in the second half of the year (provided Criterion is willing to wade through the mire of posters asking for upgrades of OOP titles and films that aren't even in the collection).

Re: Criterion Facebook and Twitter
Well, I like that they're getting the question out. Wonder when they'll have someone tally 'em up...
For what it's worth, my response: I could go on forever. Will you consider upgrading any DVD-only post Spine #450 titles? That would break precedent. In any case, my Top 5 upgraded releases would be: 1) Great Expectations/Oliver Twist, 2) Fires on the Plain/The Burmese Harp, 3) The Naked Prey, 4) Brazil, 5) Red Beard.

Shouldn't they be focusing on the BRD trilogy, you know, since it's out of stock and all? Also didn't they say "we will re-release it, just don't know when" or something along those lines? Well it sounds like you have an open slot now, so.....
