Tim Robbins in the closet, any guesses what he'd be there for?

I've always wanted a Criterion for Michel Gondry's Human Nature, but given its mixed to negative critical reception, I'd say that the odds are slim to none.

Or maybe it's something Robbins directed.

Bob Roberts would be incredible.

That was my first thought/hope, but it was Artisan and I think those titles are with LionsGate now

The blog post says it was just because Short Cuts was coming out.

That's not what it says, though, that's just an explanation as to why they're releasing the vid now (to coincide with the Short Cuts Blu)

There have been countless closet video guests that don't correspond with releases though, so my guess is nothing.

The MGM release of Dead Man Walking could definitely be improved on.

A good possibility. Cradle Will Rock would look great in Blu, but that might be wayyy too niche for Criterion to put out

I was thinking Bull Durham given Criterion's affection for '80s MGM comedies. Could be Dead Man Walking, too (there's no US Blu-ray as far as I can tell). As much as we might want it to be Human Nature or even Jacob's Ladder, you know no middle-brow crowd-pleaser is off the table at this point.

If it's not for the Altman's, next best guess is Five Corners from the HandMade Library.

There's definitely an American Blu-ray for Dead Man Walking, or at least there was

Would The Hudsucker Proxy be an option? Not sure how loaded the WAC edition is and obviously, CC seem to be in good standing with the Coens.

No. The WAC edition isn't that old of an release. Between all the films Warner hasn't released on BD and the MGM Cohen Bros. movies that are in play, I don't see Criterion exerting themselves to land it.

Probably reached the top shelves with no problem.

@AlbertBrooks What’s the best way to get in touch with you? Could you DM us?
I guess that this is most likely for a top ten list, but you never know.

I'm sure if they were releasing one of his movies they'd talk to his agent, no?

I mean, it's definitely a joke to make it public that they're working with him, right? It'd be really unprofessional if not.

If I recall they asked Alec Baldwin on Twitter to create his Top 10 list.

Yes, but maybe not if it is for something he didn't direct or isn't in. I thinking of when Neil McGlone used twitter to try and get Donovan to sit for an interview for Dont Look Back. Still, like I said, it is most likely for a top ten list.
