Uh... will Alice in Wonderland feature the R-rated version and hardcore porno version? The R-rated version flows better as a story and is, in itself, an excellent telling of the story, in my own humble, yet typically bizarre opinion. I really hope that both versions are included, transfered from the best available elements.

Almost 1 year later, Subversive Cinema finally updated their blog. Both versions of ALICE IN WONDERLAND will be included as well as a CD Soundtrack and it's coming out November 13.

I wonder what movie they may be talking about in the blog:
the worldwide DVD debut of a film that provoked a scandal that's been unmatched in modern Hollywood history!

A whole year before a new post!

Anyway, as I'm sure you all know, Alice in Wonderland was finally released, only without the R-rated version and the soundtrack as promised. The X- and XXX-rated versions were included.

Has anyone here seen the original R-rated version. What exactly was cut or altered to secure the R-rating?

And next week (August 26) they are releasing X-Rated Version by itself. Let see what next year will bring....

Here's a review for 2-disc version.

A pornographic Alice In Wonderland? I hope that Alan Moore hasn't seen it.

It's a musical as well!

I actually found it to be fairly amusing and entertaining. It has the same director as Flesh Gordon...they are both quite charming movies and worth watching.

Agreed. I wish that porn like this was made today. Fantasy hardcore porn with a good script shouldn't be out of reach in this anything goes age.

Surprisingly, the soft-core version is actually better than the hard-core. Fun songs, too, like "What's a Nice Girl Like You Doing on a Knight Like This?" and "His Ding-a-Ling's Up"!

Does anyone know what happened to this company? Did they go bankrupt or something? All of their releases went out of print, the ones that were set to be released never materialized, and their website is gone. Really sad, as they did some fine work on some very hard-to-find and obscure gems.

I'd like to know as well. I especially liked Candy Snatchers.
