I've never done any random speculation regarding the Disney acquisitions, but has there been any talk about Dead Presidents? Would Criterion be up for letting go of their special features for the film? There's no way they'd release that film in this era. Seems right up Kino's alley.
We asked for it, but it wasn't available for licensing.
Leads me to wonder: are they simply not licensing it at all, or did some other label already snag it? This isn’t the right thread, I know, but I’d like to think Criterion would reissue it (their ld edition was great).
They were not interested in licensing it to anyone. They may eventually change their minds, but this was what we were told the last time we asked for DP and some other titles.

We're still trying to figure out the extras. We're currently talking to Thelma Schoomaker regarding this project and GONE TO EARTH. Both she and Mr. Scorsese are very busy right now.

The special edition will include the docs IN SEARCH OF KUNDUN and COMPASSION IN EXILE.

If we have to wait until The Irishman wraps, that's cool.

They do release a few BD but they're restoring way more than what they're releasing on the format, which really is a shame.

A Harold Ramis movie starring John Cusack, Randy Quaid, and Billy Bob Thornton just feels so 1996, though.

Glad to see "The Ice Harvest" coming. Always thought it was weird that parts one and three of the trilogy were available, but not part two. (Although I guess they were also released in theaters in the wrong order, anyway.)
