I've been crossing my fingers for a Criterion Miami Blues release one day, but honestly anything would be better than the old non-anamorphic dvd.

MGM missed their opportunity to release this under the banner "Shit Happens When You Party Naked Edition!"

But that's not even one of the worst covers that TT has done this month.

It looks like a Rhino Records release circa 1994, but in the grand scheme of things it's one of TT's better offerings

Addendum: It might not even be the worst TT cover for a film about a rock star who died in a plane crash on February 3, 1959.

It's out in France courtesy of Wild Side end of October, I guess it'll come from the same source.

Must be nice to be the label that people say "dang" about when they find out you're the ones releasing a film. Kudos, TT

I will say this about Twilight Time: I like when they release films that have never had a stateside DVD release, like the Wayward Bus or the Egyptian etc. But their MGM releases are now way underwhelming thanks to Kino picking up 90 films and releasing them at half or better of what TT costs when considering actual cost of purchase

TT just implied on HTF that they have Breaking Away (1979) on tap for 2015.

Cinema Sentries also gave Man Hunt high marks:
"Looking even better than ever, this upgrade boasts a remarkable picture so clear that you can just barely make out the background objects in the fog during the Pidgeon and Bennett's filmic farewell, and black levels are quite solid."

In the same bracket with Ministry of Fear (Criterion Collection) and Cloak and Dagger (Olive) in my opinion. If you have seen those two, you will surely know what you are up for.

I think it's one of his better American films.

Agreed, a midrange Lang for sure
