Nah, we meant one we've yet to announce. But should be announcing this week!
Lost in Paris should be hitting theaters this summer.

I think I know the title only because I saw it today and noticed a news item on the films imdb's page dated 28 March that Oscilloscope have picked up the North American rights. Summer 1993 from Spain. Either way I think you have a another winner here as the film is a real treat.

Saw Song of Granite at the cinema last night and though I must admit to falling sleep briefly during it because of how tired I was, I was completely blown away by what I saw (so, kind of similar to my experience watching Heart of a Dog). The cinematography is simply gorgeous and really cries out for a Blu-ray release. I was curious, however, about the decision to omit subtitles for the songs, the majority of which are sung in Gaelic, as they are arguably the heart and soul of the film.

Question: What is the name of the song that plays during the end credits of River of Grass?

I checked that out but was hard to tell which song that could've been. I didn't think anything matched. It sounds like Ira Kaplan or Yo La Tengo but nothing listed specifically.

I'm pretty sure from memory that it's the Sammy song at the end of the list - Sammy being the Pavement-esque band of the film's producer Jesse Hartman.

Yup, that's it.
Found it on youtube. Larry Fessenden who played Lee Ray Harold, directed this video.

Behold our newest acquisition, HAL. Amy Scott's loving portrait of acclaimed filmmaker Hal Ashby captures the heart and soul of this truly exceptional human being, who happened to be one of the greatest filmmakers of his generation. As certified film nerds, we're buggin' out!

Is everyone aware that Oscilloscope has recently released a limited edition of "Wendy and Lucy" on blu ray? Have they done this because they have lost the future rights to the movie to Criterion (and are trying to cash in on the time they have left)?

371229, That is in fact, not why we did that. We did ti because it was sorely missed and we were finally able to get around to doing what should have happened a while ago. We have the rights for some time yet, so no other version coming along. This one is Kelly Reichardt approved and it looks amazing.

The native source for the short films is, unfortunately, not 1080.

Very tempting, but a little spendy. Anyone got a discount code?

The picture looks great and is Kelly Reichardt-approved, but we've not done a side by side with the UK set so cannot speak to that I'm afraid. You'd probably want this to come from an unbiased voice anyway.

Thanks! To be honest, I hadn't even thought about shipping (so used to Amazon Prime), so it's still the same price that I was hesitant about before. I'll have to sleep on it.
