I've been hearing alot about Mauro Bolognini, so I'll definitely be picking up Gran Bollito. May also pick up Keys of the Kingdom, The Barefoot Contessa and I Want To Live! ...though I'd much rather pick up Signal One editions, if they should happen!

I Want to Live! and the Barefoot Contessa are classics I've been waiting on forever from TT, though I'm worried about the aspect ratio on the latter

Stardust Memories is the only automatic buy for me. I may get The Boston Strangler, too. Its an interesting film even if it's a total misrepresentation of the real case.

The others are ones I need to see to decide on, which at this point I'm quite far behind on for TT titles ever since they increased to 5-6 a month.

For those who haven't seen it, I Want to Live! has a legitimate claim on being the most beautifully-shot film of all time-- if ever a film merited a Blu-ray, it's this one

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll certainly check out the film now. This Susan Hayward appears to have completely slipped under my radar.

I can safely second that recommendation for I Want to Live! A gorgeous film that was so much better and more emotionally engaging than I ever expected from the premise. It should really be better known.

Can anyone speak as to the quality of this release by Umbrella?

It's the one I watched, I didn't think it looked bad but it's apparently a different transfer than the one TT used. It's also available direct and cheap from US Amazon

"MGM/UA have advised us they are losing the rights to the movie version of David Mamet's fantastic play, AMERICAN BUFFALO. As a result Twilight Time's Blu-ray will be OUT OF PRINT at midnight on September 12th, 2016. As an incentive for last-minute dawdlers who do not yet have this title in their collection, the price is reduced to $14.95 at http://www.twilighttimemovies.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - now you have no excuses! Don't delay as it's gone in only 18 days!"

Already posted last week (see previous page)—"Don't delay as it's gone in 4 weeks!" Now it's down to 18 days, and I look forward to more hard sell between now and the fateful midnight hour of 9/12:
Hey, dawdlers! This will be OUT OF PRINT in 2 weeks! Now you have no excuses!
Hey, dawdlers! This will be OUT OF PRINT in 3 days! Now you have no excuses! None!
Hey, last-second dawdlers! This will be OUT OF PRINT in 2 seconds! Now you have no excuses! None! Why didn't you add this to your collection before literally the last second? Your loss.

DVD Beaver reviews the Arrow Academy release of Love and Death, comparing it to the TT BD

To my eyes, other than the fact that the TT was a shade lighter that the Arrow, I could not discern any obvious difference in quality.

I believe Arrow is contractually obligated to use exactly the same transfers as TT did. See MichaelB's posts in the relevant Arrow thread.

With Arrow's higher bitrate it probably looks more robust in motion and less noticeable in caps.
